It is widely believed that the first people that arrived in New Zealand came from Polynesia. Most Historians believe that they landed in New Zealand over 700 years ago. Although they were originally from many different country's these settlers learned to live together and eventually formed they're own  distinct culture named Maori. Maori have their own language,Traditions and Culture.

Summer Learning Journey Australia

I chose this country to go and visit in...... 

 AUSTRALIA

I chose to visit Australia because it has wonderful kangaroo's and lots of boats and canoes. 

I love kangaroo's because they jump a lot and i love jumping sometimes.

I like boats too because i love riding boats with my family.

There are lots of main cities in Australia like Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Melbourne, Adelaide,Canberra (Capital).

The Australians dollars have [AUD] On it.

The National Icons are green and gold, The kangaroo, The opal (gem), The Golden Wattle flower, The emu.

They have bikes and beautiful flowers. Australia is an island country located deep in the Pacific Ocean (to the west of New Zealand). It is made up of 6 states.
