When we had our student teacher named Miss Roper she convinced us into ONOMATOPOEIA words!
For example ONOMATOPOEIA words mean: BOOM!,WHOOSH!,KA - BOOM!
Room 13 has made their own google drawing and made their own onomatopoeia google drawing.
Here is my google drawing:
Kia ora Maile,
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your Onomatopoeia word - Purr. Are you a cat lover? Do you have cats at home? There is something pretty special about the sound of a cat purring.... Do you think they purr when they want food??? The cat I had when I was growing up used to have a very loud MEOW for food.
Tania
Tena koe Maile,
ReplyDeleteI love Onomatopoeias they are so much fun to say and use as an author. Is this your cat in the drawing? We have two cats and one of them will not stop meowing when he is hunger although he is fat and does not need to eat too much. Have you got any examples of your work where you have used onomatopoeias?
