Did you know  there is a  tree in the Northland called the Kauri tree.

Did  you also know that in New Zealand we have trees that are gum trees!

I think I would love to visit because I would like to see the Tane Mahuta in real life because what if it is soooo high and big and wide!

So I would love to meet the Tane Mahuta!

It is widely believed that the first people that arrived in New Zealand came from Polynesia. Most Historians believe that they landed in New Zealand over 700 years ago. Although they were originally from many different country's these settlers learned to live together and eventually formed they're own  distinct culture named Maori. Maori have their own language,Traditions and Culture.
